Below is some information from people within the bike community that have stepped up and are trying to help Animals in our local area:

Fellow Biker looking for  your Support

Hello Everyone,

Mike Gabor has been working in our community over the past year or so, to do something about the over population of feral cats in Windsor. With a self-started TNR (trap, neuter, release) program, He has done this with no pay and on his own time with some financial support from the community for the cost of spay or neuter proceedures. And has made a significant difference in areas where he and his volunteers have been working.

He has started the process to approach the City of Windsor for funding, (The Windsor-Essex County Humane Society does not currently run this type of  program) Mike will soon be making an appeal to City Council Members at a Council meeting for the funding, and is looking for your support.

If you live in an affected feral cat area of the City or County, and feel that this is an issue that needs to be addressed, please read the letter below from Mike and contact the Council Members listed .

Mike is very committed to making a difference in this community, if you have any questions regarding this program please contact him at phone number listed in the letter.

Thank you for your time,

Essex County Riders-Canada
